Aaa, clear blue skies, fragrant blossoms filling the air and sound of cicadas. Spring has finally arrived here in Sydney and I could not be anymore excited! Spring time has always been a symbolic season to me as it promises me that everything can begin again. She reminds me to embrace the new and what is to come. And by chance, this years spring overlaps with a very big turning point in my life. With my university graduation coming up and working life about to commence, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement and hope for what is yet to come. To celebrate, I have compiled a spring inspired look and situate myself in Sydney’s iconic floral wonderland, The Grounds of Alexandria.
Fresh colours are perfect symbols for representing spring. I choose to wear this tender green floral crop top, inspired by the lush green goings-on of the courtyard.
Next, I slip on these cream wide legged pants. The neutral colour and breathable linen material makes it a perfect blend of chique and outdoors. I also love how versatile these pants are as you can dress them up or down, depending on the event.
To complement this spring look, I opt for my beloved wedged sandals. Not only do they help add a little height, (which ya girl needs), the lightweight cork material delivers all day comfort and style.
Moving onto accessories, I decide to keep my jewelry to a bare minimum and bring with me the essentials: Sunglasses, check. Camera, check.
Oh and we mustn't forget the most important accessory of all! A smile :)
