Back to the Future at Innovation Tower

Updated: Sep 17, 2023

I couldn’t have left HK city without visiting one of its many futuristic and innovative buildings. So today, I would like to present to you my final and favourite look I recreated when visiting the famous Innovation Tower in Kowloon, HK. This building, designed by reputable Zaha Hadid has to be one of the most fascinating architectural designs I’ve ever encountered.. The interior's crisp white walls and never ending escalators made me feel like I had just stepped into a futuristic environment! This setting thus has inspired me to style this minimalistic/futuristic look.

Earthy-toned colours have made a big hit in the fashion scene recently. It is a colour palette that is seemingly basic, yet very versatile at the same time. Seeing that I had a very clean white backdrop, I chose to wear a beige cream ensemble to fit with that ‘minimalistic’ aesthetic. By building my whole outfit around this colour, my look instantly became like a complete set - reminding me of styles I’d see appear out of a runway collection.

Going with the colour coding scheme, I paired my white flared pants with this oversized pullover. What I love about this jumper is its unique lace up detail at the back, adding a more feminine component to the look.

And of course, I couldn't have finished this number without popping on this swaggy khaki coloured cap. It's definitely the perfect 'one' to top off this outfit, don't you think?

And there you have it! I hope you liked my final look of my HK style series! The places I've been and the fashion I've seen during my stay in this city have left me feeling super inspired for future fashion creations. I can’t wait to show you more of my visions soon!
